Just An Update

My recent problems with computer malfunctions and the pressures the local cyclists are putting on me anticipating Spring have caused me to remain away from this keyboard.  I have had no computer time other than putting it to use with my business in mind.  I have begun the annual quest for elusive cycling gee gaws winter weary consumers saw in some obscure article on the latest gee whiz bike stuff that will never be available in the real world.   They have fanatsized about how a new ride would feel.  Or if packing a light pocket book, they imagine what upgrade they can afford to at least give their cycling season that needed boost and pyschological edge out of the gate.

The winter weary cyclists have had all winter to fantasize and they are ready to at least do some serious tire kicking.  Repairs are now officially stacking up and I find my time would be better utilized wading through them than typing words that mean little in the cosmic madness we exist in.  It is time to manage some of the madness instead of whining about it.

The computers are back up and working, though not at the level they once were.  Seems both could use some more TLC.  But I need both as my bike shop has become dependent on them working.   That will have to wait.  So............................

See ya soon.........................................

Spring is here if the cyclists are getting itchy to ride. Hope you are busy and profitable all year. But do find some time to keep us posted and to take some nature pictures.
This artist has done some wonderful pictures of New England.

Thanks for the update. I was starting to wonder.

Hope you can get enough money together to get a backup computer before one of the important ones dies.

Enjoy the beginning of your busy time!

You had your eye poked out by that icicle, didn't you.

Busy is busy, Mike. Emjoy it and get that cash in!

I've been in the same boat and I feel I must apologise for not getting over here as much. I will try and rectify that. Take care, my friend!

I got out of my business about the time that computers were becoming important, and I'm thankful for that.

Saw yet another in a new round of shows convinced 2012 is the cosmic deadline for human civilization. With most everyone approaching insanity like a cool, new fad I'm adopting the attitude that "good enough" will work in most things like computers.

This does not include the refrigerator with my doomsday beer supply.

Blog Fodder - Yeah the cyclists are getting antsy. But I plan on resuming posting ASAP.

Kulkiri - At least twice a year this 15 foot monster dangles behind my shop.

Muddleglum - I have a back up and now I need a back up for the back up.

Laura - Thanks, but this rude awakening from my winter dozing is anything but enjoyable. Damn Canadians....... ;)

Randal - No, not that one, but a few years back one closer to my back door fell and knocked me to the ground. Left a scar too.

David - I hear ya man. I haven't been wandering far either. Besides money, Time is about the only thing I have too little of.

BBC - If I wasn't whing about computers, I'd be whining about writer's cramp. It's always something.

Beach Bum - 2012? Maybe that's why I ain't buying a new snowblower.

Mr Charleston - Okey Dokey. I'll be by soon.

Insulation and ventilation will fix that.

Kulkiri - Oh I know that. Not my building. I rent. Landlord knows it also, but well I guess both of us have begun to enjoy the adventure of hanging out behind the shop.
