At least it bumped the mosque/community center in NYC down the target list of the brain dead fools who love to make something from nothing. And who cares anyway? Like any pissing contest or whose johnson is bigger comparison, idiots are drawn to useless numbers like flies to shit. The bottom line is was the event a success? The idiots on both sides do not seem to care. It's all about the numbers.
All will agree however it was an all white crowd for the most part. And again most will agree there were not many Muslims in the crowd. After all, it was not a political rally (snicker, snort, chortle), but a rally to bring God back into our lives. Only belief in God the Christian way will save us from ourselves.
It really does not matter what fine speeches were sputtered. The message is running second to the numbers game. It is of no consequence that with the exception of a rally goer throwing a sandwich in the face of a deli employee, it was a relatively peaceful event. What everyone is concentrating on is how many fools made the trip.

Actually the process for accurate numbers is fairly simple and has been used for years. Area covered by crowd times number of people per square unit (which is pretty constant). It had been used way back in the Vietnam protest days and likely before. Of course, the numbers actually released are entirely political and you cannot believe any of them but they do know how many were there.
Yes, American politics is a sit-com. It would be funnier if it didn't control the lives of so many people and carry the eventual possibility of devastating the entire earth.
I remember when sitcom had Joyce DeWitt and Suzanne Somers in hot pants. Oh, America, how far thou hast fallen.

Blog Fodder - Simple huh? Maybe that is why the estimates have ranged from 76,000 to that wacko representative from Minnesota's assertion at least "One million showed up". I can tell you from my own experience, it was nowhere close to one million. But then it's not the numbers, it's that all the pundits, high paid bonehead anchors, and political hacks are focusing not on what the rally represented, but how many people showed up.
Freedom of speech was exercised in DC this past weekend, but no one seems to care why.
