What an Entertaining Election

In the face of growing ridicule and disdain, The Donald and his merry band of Trumpeteers press on in their heroic quest to defeat the windmills of logic and reason.  A fine and brave army of Homers insist on defending their inalienable right to be stupid.

Meanwhile, in the age old smoke filled rooms of the Right, crusty old white men are just now realizing the import of what they were responsible for unleashing on an unsuspecting public.  Wisely, their counterparts, the aging Hippies of the Left are restraining themselves for the most part so as to allow the Right the room necessary to defeat itself.

Damn, Politics can be fun to watch.

What are the chances that the national Republican Party would melt down AND Fox News would melt down at exactly the same moment for completely unrelated reasons?

I think you're right: The rest of us should step out of the way and let it happen.

I'd have more fun watching the political circus if I was absolutely certain that Trump and his GOP enablers will get trounced in November. But that slight uncertainty makes things a little scary. Don't forget, at this point in the 1988 election, Michael Dukakis was supposed to be a shoe-in for the White House. It wasn't 'til October that Bush/Quayle surged ahead and got elected.

I'm not trying to spoil your party, or anything :)

Nasreen Iqbal - We definitely should not antagonize the situation. Let the events unfold as they may. No matter who wins in November, I predict a major reorganizing effort on the Right. The Left better be watchful.

JACKIESUE - I realized early on that whoever or whatever is responsible for creating the world we inhabit had a seriously twisted sense of humor by creating more than one race.

BBC - If it seems broken don't mess with it. Right?

Tom Harper - Your concerns about the remote possibility of a Donald administration are roaming around the fringes of my mind also. But, at least this election has some hilarity attached to it at the moment. Since all I have is my vote and my opinion, I will sit back and enjoy the ride.

They used to call St. Ronnie the Teflon Man, but The Donald can run circles around St. Ronnie when it comes to accountability!!

Shows how bad our educational system is that so many millions support him!!

Kulkiri - The Trumpeteers do not care about the numerous ethical and moral transgressions that fill the Donald's past. But I do think the undecided voters might.
